What are the details I need to know about participating in the AMC 10/12 tournament?

• About: The AMC 10 and AMC 12 are 25-question, 75-minute multiple-choice exams designed for high school students. They serve as the first step towards qualification for the AIME and subsequently the USA(J)MO.
• Registration Details: Open to students in grade 10 or below (AMC 10) and grade 12 or below (AMC 12). The fee is $25 per exam.
• Schedule: Conducted twice annually, the exams take place in November.
